Sarah and Andy contacted me to create them some beautifully bespoke wedding invitations in a vintage luggage tag style to reflect their 'something blue' wedding theme. It was made clear from the start that the couples much loved pug Ted would have to feature on the invites and that they wanted a simple colour scheme of hydrangea blue to match the brides choice of florals for the big day.

Roll on a few months and the tag style invite, with it's quirky illustrations was a huge hit with both their guests, and with those of you who have come and seen LoveLi at fairs and events over the last year. What's more it gave birth to what has become a signature invitation style for our little studio, with may couples now opting for tag invites.

Sarah and Andy's wedding date approached, and they got in touch to get some on the day paper pretties to match their invitation range. Using the same style and illustrations, we created a beautiful A5 order of service and some quirky table names, all named after types of tea. The day was full to the brim of understated rustic charm and handmade pieces, with plenty of hydrangea blue. The bride hand made tea cup candles from cups she painstakingly sourced and lovingly hand poured. Ted also got his big moment, donning a smart bowtie and playing a supporting role throughout the day - I think you'll agree he is the star of this show.
