SHOULD WE SEND SAVE THE DATES?
This is personal preference and becoming increasingly popular. It takes the pressure off getting all the finer details sorted for sending invitations out and gives you time to really plan the look and feel for your day before getting invitations designed etc.
I would recommend sending Save The Dates if you are having a destination wedding or the date is very soon and to do it as soon as you have a date. These can be very simple and there are many options in the STUDIO COLLECTION to make these quick, easy and cost effective.
WHEN SHOULD WE SEND OUT OUR WEDDING INVITATIONS?
This to a certain extent is entirely up to you and can vary depending on the details of your wedding. As an example, if you are having a destination wedding or the date is very soon then the sooner the better to allow guests to make plans to attend. As a general rule of thumb I tell couples to look to send out invitations approximately 4-6 months before their wedding date. If you have sent Save The Dates then this time can be decreased as guests will already have the date in their diary.
There really are no set rules here but the sooner you give notice, the more likely your guests are still going to have that date available and you can have everyone there you want on your special day.
WHEN SHOULD WE ORDER?
I advise that you start the ordering process as soon as you have your wedding date and venue booked. I often take booking 18 – 24 months in advance of a wedding date and this early bird attitude means you can secure studio availability for bespoke designs (there are a limited number per year). Don’t forget, it’s not just the design that takes some time – all items need to be proofed, printed, hand finished and delivered to you as well. HOW DO WE ORDER?
You can view the STUDIO COLLECTION right here on the website and buy them directly. Simply add the items to your shopping cart and send over personalisation text in the ‘Order Notes’ section when you checkout. Don’t worry though, if you forget I always confirm orders via email so I will verify these details with you within 48hours.

HOW LONG DOES THE WHOLE PROCESS TAKE?
Generally the ordering process takes between 4 and 6 weeks from start to finish depending on how quickly I receive your feedback on personalisations and bespoke designs can take up to 16 weeks. For STUDIO COLLECTION stationery a proof will be sent within 4-6 days and then printing can take between 1-2 weeks to deliver.
I will advise you after initial brief the time frames for completing BESPOKE orders.
From the approval of your final proofs you can expect to receive your order within 2-4 weeks, again all depending on the nature of the designs chosen and any hand-finishing that may be required. I will advise you of delivery timescales upon completion of the design phase.
WHAT CHANGES/PERSONALISATION CAN WE MAKE TO STUDIO COLLECTION DESIGNS?
The STUDIO COLLECTION has been designed to provide a cost-effective, quicker product for couples that still want stationery with the wow factor. All the ranges have various colour options and all text can be edited to your details, simply send us this in the ‘Order Notes’ section when you checkout.
If you find a STUDIO COLLECTION item that is a small detail away from perfection for your day then please do get in touch. Small changes can be made at a nominal design fee or even in certain cases for free.
CAN WE CHANGE THE COLOURS OF A STUDIO COLLECTION?
CAN I SEE OUR DETAILS ON A STUDIO COLLECTION DESIGN BEFORE WE ORDER?
If you would like to see what your invitation will look like before committing to an order, I am more than happy to put together a PDF version to email you for a studio fee of £15 for each design. This fee will be refunded if you place an order. Get in touch if you’d like to request a personalised sample.
IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY/AMOUNT?
Certain items on the website are subject to minimum order requirements for personalisation, these include invitations, save the dates, RSVPs, further details cards, menus, placecards etc. Orders for less than the specified minimum order amount will be contacted in the first instance and then sent a non-personalised sample.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM BESPOKE COLLECTION STATIONERY & WHAT IS THE COST?
BESPOKE COLLECTION orders allow total flexibility in design and finishing – the world really is your oyster. Our bespoke consultation form can be filled in here and of course sharing any Pinterest boards or good old fashioned cut & stick collages with me will also help build the vision you have for your big day. From here I will create initial design concepts for you to review. Bespoke orders include up to six sets of amends. Any major additional changes beyond this point will be charged at my hourly rate of £30. Unfortunately, errors or mistakes on your part that aren’t picked up at the proofing stage won’t be eligible for refunds.
Design fees for BESPOKE COLLECTION orders start from £200 plus the cost of printing, finishing and delivery. A quotation will be supplied after initial briefing before any work is carried out. Please note that a 50% non-refundable deposit is chargeable at the time of booking studio time and the remaining balance before your order goes into print production.
DO WE HAVE A CHOICE OF CARD?
Absolutely! LOVELI has a fabulous range of card available to suit all themes and budgets. The STUDIO COLLECTION ranges are printed on set card types (details on the shop pages) but BESPOKE COLLECTION orders can use any of our 10 stock cards in a range of thicknesses. CAN WE ORDER ADDITIONAL MATCHING ITEMS THAT AREN’T IN THE SHOP?
Not a problem. If you want an order of service in a different size or need some A4 signs doing in the same style as the STUDIO COLLECTION invites you have bought then please do get in touch on [email protected] for a quote.
