As we head towards that crazy time of year where sometimes a whopping 30% of business is done for most retail business, I wanted to put this out there as a reminder to everyone of the importance of supporting small business this Christmas, and particularly to look to those in your local area for inspiration. Personally, this year I am trying really hard to source everything I want to gift this festive season from independent retailers to not only help them thrive but also get unique gifts that you can't find just anywhere.
This fabulous big day at the stunning Thornbridge Hall featured plenty of LoveLi paper pretties from start to finish (including Prosecco bar sign).
Sarah and Andy contacted me to create them some beautifully bespoke wedding invitations in a vintage luggage tag style to reflect their 'something blue' wedding theme.
When Beth and Tom approached me to help design their bespoke wedding stationery, little did I know that their stationery package would turn into one of the most favoured at wedding events and fairs. Working with a beautiful olive colour palette, paired with elegant creams and just a touch of rustic vintage was pure joy.
Part of me is sad to be writing this post about Monica & Ross’s sensational big day, as it really signifies the end of working with this fabulous couple to create a fabulously stylish look for their elegant navy and rose gold wedding.
Some of you might be familiar with my Gatsby studio range, so you can imagine my excitement when being invited to join a gorgeous bunch of Yorkshire based suppliers to create a Gatsby inspired styled shoot at the one and only Betty’s Tearooms.
This very special shoot was organised and styled by the super talented For The Love Of Weddings at the utterly gorgeous Garthmyl Hall. A superb bunch of suppliers got together to produce a timeless vintage look that had all the sparkle and glamour of yesteryear, whilst remaining current for todays wedding couple.
Am finally getting round to sharing a lovely little beach based shoot I was involved in last year. An amazing set of suppliers got together on Hornsea beach front to create a Sea Siren inspired scene to get the inspiration flowing. The theme for the shoot was a magical mix of relaxed ethereal detail with elements of gypsy soul & steampunk. What resulted is a beautiful summery feel with pops of aqua and cerise on the stationery and styling pretty creative and fabulous.
I am thrilled to announce a new national collaboration with the rather fabulous London Sock Co. I have been sitting on this one for a while, and cannot tell you how great it is to be able to finally share it with you all. These limited edition Father’s Day cards have been designed specifically for the stylish mens brand and are available with gift set purchases now on their website
Here at LoveLi I am always thrilled to be involved in styled shoots of all kinds. A chance to get the creative juices flowing and really inspire couples out there looking for big day inspo to help them plan their perfect big day. When Sophie from The Confetti Cakery got in touch with me through Instagram saying she admired my work and had a shoot in the planning I jumped at the chance to get involved
